Uniform

Uniforms serve an important role in the philosophy of
our Catholic School. They minimize the importance of
competition or preoccupation with what we wear and help us focus
more on who we are. They help us behave in accordance with our
dress. They also reduce the financial burden on parents.
St. Peter's requires students to be in uniform
from the first day of school until the last. Students are a
reflection on St. Peter's and therefore we ask for uniform
regulations to be implemented while children are in transit to and
from school. We also ask that uniforms be neat, clean and
pressed. Uniforms are to be worn every day. Out of
uniform days will be announced by the principal in advance. We
ask that you review these regulations with your children and monitor
their enforcement. Violations will result in a phone call and
parents will be asked to bring the proper uniform. Junior High
students will receive demerits for violations.
If there is an extraordinary circumstance that
necessitates a child being out of uniform (on a rare occasion), a
parental note must be sent to the office in order to
allow the exception. In this case, please make sure the item
worn follows our guidelines as close as possible.
If there are any questions about uniform
regulations, the principal makes the decision of what is allowed.
Please help us follow these simple guidelines:
